Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Meet your guide at your Arusha hotel or the airport and drive about two hours to Tarangire. Spend the afternoon on a game drive among elephant herds and baobabs. Overnight near Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater
Early descent into the crater for a full morning of game viewing: lion, buffalo, hippo and, with luck, black rhino. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then return to the rim and your lodge.
